Wheaton won the county seat by referendum in 1867, but Naperville kept the records anyway. So in 1868 a group of Wheaton men drove over at night and took them by wagon. That ride is on the back: a wagon stacked with the records and a horse under a full moon. Naperville is still a little sore about it. A shirt for every town rivalry that's really just family.
