NILES
A leaning tower stands on Touhy Avenue in Niles. Robert Ilg built it in 1934 to hide a water tank. It's 94 feet tall, about half the height of the one in Pisa, and it leans about seven feet off plumb. Niles and Pisa have been sister cities since 1991.
On the shirt: the tower drawn leaning, arcade shadows hatched by hand. Full artwork on the front, back blank.
- Two inks
- Lemont Stone (Ivory), garment-dyed heavyweight cotton
Care: machine wash cold, inside out, gentle cycle, with like colors. No fabric softener or bleach. Tumble dry low or hang dry. Do not iron the print.
