The Great Fire of 1871 burned about a third of Chicago, and the Water Tower on Michigan Avenue, built in 1869, was still standing when the smoke cleared. Oscar Wilde is said to have called it a "castellated monstrosity." Chicago kept it anyway, and it became the city's proof that it could lose everything and start again. Wear it for every comeback you've had, and for the city that taught you how.
The tower printed up the back and small at the chest, on a midweight 6.1 oz garment-dyed cotton tee. Relaxed fit, true to size.
