Back of the Yards Hereford Tee

Back of the Yards is the South Side neighborhood that grew up behind the Union Stock Yards, which opened in 1865 and closed in 1971. Generations of families worked the yards, built the churches and kept the neighborhood going long after the pens were gone. The back is a woodcut Hereford steer at the pen rails, its coat printed in rust, for the people whose grandparents came home smelling like the Yards.

The Hereford's head stitched at the chest in red, white and black. Midweight 6.1 oz garment-dyed cotton tee, relaxed fit, true to size.
