AURORA · CITY OF LIGHTS · KANE COUNTY
In 1881 Aurora became one of the first cities in the country to light its streets entirely with electricity, and the nickname City of Lights followed in 1908. Downtown on the Fox River, the name still fits.
True Navy, also in Pepper, 6.1 oz ring-spun cotton, garment-dyed, relaxed fit. One lit 1880s street lamp with AURORA under it is printed small at the left chest. On the back, AURORA is printed large as a marquee sign, bulbs and all, over a row of street lamps on the Fox River, with City of Lights and ELECTRIC STREETS SINCE 1881 under it. Cream ink, with the bulbs and lamp globes in Field Corn. Mt 5:14 small at the top of the back.
Care: machine wash cold, inside out, gentle cycle, with like colors. No fabric softener or bleach. Tumble dry low or hang dry. Do not iron the print.
