ALGONQUIN · THE FERRY CROSSING
Full story
Before there was a bridge, there was a ferry. Names like Cornish Ferry and Denny's Ferry were in the running for the crossing on the Fox here, until Samuel Edwards's pick, Algonquin, became official in 1847. This hat puts that crossing right on the front: a ferryman with his pole, a load of barrels and a line of river underneath, ALGONQUIN stitched below. The Mayvick mark goes on the back. Made by two brothers from Algonquin.
Soft chino cotton twill. Unstructured six-panel dad hat, buckle strap, one size.
Verse: Psalm 46:4, stitched small on the right side.
Care
spot clean or hand wash cold. Air dry. No bleach. Do not iron the stitching.
