Volo Bog is a state natural area in Ingleside, up in Lake County near the Chain O'Lakes, and the ground there floats. It's a mat of sphagnum moss and peat that has been creeping in over an old glacial lake for thousands of years. Step on it and it quakes, which is why a floating boardwalk takes you through. Under the thinnest part, by the open water at the center, there are 50 feet of water and muck. It's the only open-water quaking bog in Illinois.

Navy, 6.1 oz ring-spun cotton, garment-dyed. Round park badge on the back, the mark at the chest, Ingleside on the left sleeve, John 14:6 small at the back of the neck.

Care: machine wash cold, inside out, gentle cycle, with like colors. No fabric softener or bleach. Tumble dry low or hang dry. Do not iron the print.
