BATAVIA · STAFF PICK
There are bison grazing behind a particle accelerator. Fermilab's first director, Robert Wilson, started the herd in 1969 to tie the lab to the prairie, and about two dozen adults still graze it. The old rumor says they're radiation detectors. Fermilab says they're not.
On the shirt: one bison, drawn flat, with Wilson Hall's twin towers behind it.
- Left chest print. Ps 50:10 down the left sleeve
- Moss, garment-dyed heavyweight cotton
- 6.1 oz ring-spun cotton, relaxed fit
