The Fox River runs down through Chicago's western suburbs, and the trail runs with it from Algonquin to Oswego, twelve towns ticked off along the way. It meets the Illinois Prairie Path partway down. No mileage on this one: published figures run from 38 to 46 miles, so we left the number off. Ride it and argue.

Care: machine wash cold, inside out, gentle cycle, with like colors. No fabric softener or bleach. Tumble dry low or hang dry. Do not iron the print or the stitching.
