The Fox River starts in Wisconsin, runs down through Chicago's northwest and west suburbs, and ends at Ottawa, Illinois, where it meets the Illinois River. Along the way it's the river Algonquin is built on and the one Elgin, St. Charles, Geneva, Batavia and Aurora all turned their downtowns toward. If you grew up out here, you learned to swim, fish or fall out of a canoe in it. The hat says where it comes from and where it's going.
