For years the staircase at Swallow Cliff had 125 steps up the bluff. In 2016 a second flight of 168 steps went in beside it, and now the two make a 293-step loop.
Toboggan slides stood here too, until they closed in 2004 and were demolished in 2008. Sledding is still allowed on the hill. The preserve is open sunrise to sunset, and dogs aren't allowed on the stairs.
